Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts who reside in Atlanta. At an early age his father became obsessed by theater. When he was an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. After joining the airforce, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in the year. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple were discharged from the air force and Walter began studying at Tulane University. Walter was recruited to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies, which aired in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. The following year, they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for six years. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
