Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She comes from the fourth Roberts family that been a resident of Atlanta. This began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. The Robertses' father was interested in theatre from an early time. As a student in Emory University he appeared in numerous productions in and outside of the campus. After he enlisted in the Air force, he appeared together with Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in 1957. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple left the airforce and Walter began his studies at Tulane. The family relocated in 1960 into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the local children's Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they self-funded. In the following year, they established The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa, was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
