Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28th, 1998, in Los Angeles California) is an American actress, singer and vocalist. Ariel began her career in acting at an early age. The actress was in an Cool Whip ad when she was just 6 years old. Ariel's first role on television began at age seven, in a CBS episode called Listen Up! Her next roles were in Monk Bones, ER and different programs. The year 2007 saw her debut in the role of Gretchen in the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. She had her breakthrough live-action appearance in the role of Alex Dunphy in the hit TV show Modern Family two years later. Alongside the other cast members of Modern Family, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award four times for Outstanding Performances by an Ensemble in the Comedy Series.
