
Brianne Sidonie Deaulniers was born October 1, 1989. She is famous professionally as Brie Larson. Most well-known for her supporting roles in comedies at the age of a teenager but she has since moved on to lead roles in independent films as well as blockbusters. Larson has received numerous accolades like the Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She also received an Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named Larson as one of the 100 most influential people around the world in 2019. Larson was admitted at age six into American Conservatory Theater's education program. Her acting career started in 1998, when she appeared in a comedy sketch on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. In 2001, she became the main character on Raising Dad. She also briefly pursued a career in music, following the release of the album Finally Out of P.E. in 2005. Larson played supporting roles in comedy films Hoot (2006) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010) and 21 Jump Street (2012). In 2009, Larson also appeared as the sardonic Tara character in the television series United States of Tara (2009-2011). Larson continued to appear in supporting roles on The Spectacular Here (2013) and Trainwreck (2015). Larson was honored with the Academy Award for Best Actress in the role of an abducted victim in the dramatic Room (2015). Her 2017 adventure film Kong, Skull Island was her first major-budget film. She then starred in Captain Marvel in Marvel Cinematic Universe (2019).
